About this piece:

The first piece completed of this mini-series. The colour palette inspired by Sarnia Summer Sunsets of 2026. A specific kind of relief is felt watching these layers dance along & into each other.

About this Piece:

This piece is part of an ongoing series of landscapes, skyscapes, & other-worldlyscapes. The series is titled ‘Flashing Phases’, which I started in Winter of 2025.

Each piece began with an acrylic base, followed by multiple layers of oil in a contrasting colour. The palette remains limited per piece. Consistently playing with texture, blends, & feel. The way paint & tools flow to guide the direction— each piece comes to life.
